Haitian Mustangs

The Aviation Corps of the Haïtian Guard bought six F-51Ds in 1951 which formed a composite squadron along with other training aircraft, based in Bowen Field (Port-au-Prince). Flown by mercenaries serving the local dictator "Papa Doc" Duvallier, they were retired in 1953-1954 and delivered to the Dominian Republic.
