BUD ANDERSON'S "OLD CROW"

This is the second livery of P-51D-10-NA #44-14450 flown by Captain Clarence E. "Bud" Anderson Jr. during his second combat tour with the 357th Fighter Group, 363rd Fighter Squadron. The aircraft was previously painted Dark Olive Green and Neutral Grey but was later stripped to natural metal. This is how it looked like in late 1944. Notice that the exhaust shroud has been removed and that the invasion stripes are very unusual, with only two black and one white band remaining.
